New Title and New Cast Picture

This is the new Title Image. Instead of having that paint splatter, I wanted a different title image and I drew up different ideas, and this one was my favorite. It's a little simple, but I think simple is just enough.

Here's the cast picture redone. It took many, many, hours to make. Around 9 in fact. Crazy! I'm really excited for this show though, I personally feel like it's looking more and more professional every day!

New Cast Designs and Lineup

Check it out! It's the cast remade completely with the new program I bought. It took forever, but I'm so happy with the outcome. You can see some characters got minor changes, no changes, or complete changes! This is the main and final cast for RTVGI. Each day more and more progress is made!

Final Confessional Plus Updates

The video below shows a timeline of the confessional background. I just finished the final version today, and I think it looks great! As for updates, I'm still animating episode 1. I know it's taking long, but trust me, I'm getting better and I personally think the more I work on Flash the faster the animating goes for me. Soon I'll be making episodes left and right, not literally of course.

I recently reanimated the original preview on the show, which I don't think I've posted here either, so I'll post that on this update as well. I can't upload the new preview yet because I need to buy Adobe Premiere in order to upload it in the best quality. Plus it's much easier to upload with than what I have now. So I'm trying my best to get this show up for everyone, and thanks again for being so patient. I can't wait until everyone can see the final project!

Just An Update

It's been awhile since I've made a post, so I wanted to update the blog with what's going on.

About the first minute of episode 1 has been animated, mainly because I've been really busy lately, but I won't be soon. Also, I've been having to redo backgrounds, characters, etc. which is also a little time consuming. However, once all of that it is finished I can just apply them whenever I need them, making it easier and faster for me to animated everything.

This animation with Flash is amazing, and I can guarantee this show will be much better than how it was originally planned.

I've also made another YouTube account entitled RealityTVBackstage. This is set to show all of the behind-the-scenes work with RTVGI. I can't really post much on the cannel now because I don't want to reveal anything, but when the show is up on YouTube, I plan to show cast interviews, recording sessions, storyboards, the animation process possibly? I might even be able to put up unseen footage from the very beginning, and also some deleted scenes.

I've got a lot going on, and it's really fun! I can't wait to see the outcome of this show.

P.S. A Devonte plushie is in the works.

Episode 1 is Finally Being Animated

I know I've said this before, but now I'm saying it for real, because it's actually happening! Flash took longer than I thought to figure out, but I was able to do it and now I am in the process of animating episode 1. If I keep up with the strategy to finish each episode, it should go faster than I'd expected! :D

Also, here's Tony's walk cycle that I made in Flash yesterday!

Got a New Theme Song!

I have been searching for awhile to get the right theme song and I got it today! It's a lot more of a rock song than a Survivor song which I'd rather have anyway.

I found a band on YouTube who gave me the rights to use the instrumental to their song, which of course they'll be credited on and have a link to their channel in the description.

As for animation the process is a little slow again. Working with Flash caused my rotations to be blurry, in fact everything was blurry and I have to redo it all with this new program. It's not too bad since I can reline over them again and I can also layer everything.

Also, here's a little preview for you all on the blog.

This is the new host's area! What do you think?

In Need of a Theme Song

After making this theme song I came to realize that I don't like the theme song I chose, and it's also really boring.

So I need to get either my own theme song from a band, or find a better one to use. I'm wanting a band more, but a better Survivor theme would be good as well.

Cast Lineup

Here's the entire cast compared together to show the heights of everyone. It also includes the new Chelsea design!

Chelsea Redone!

The voice actress for Chelsea hated the look for Chelsea and finally convinced me to change it. After changing her a bit, I realized that she definitely looked better. What do you think?

The Scripts Are Done!

The scripts are totally done, and they're about half the size of a dictionary! Wow! That's a lot of writing!

Old Backgrounds

I was searching through my old computer I used, and I found these old backgrounds! I can't believe how badly made they are. Don't worry, this show has completely new backgrounds that took me more than five minutes to make.

And just for fun, here's a new background of the cabin I made.

I'm Writing Away

Well, I noticed I haven't made a new post in awhile, and I figured I should announce that I am halfway through writing the scripts for the episodes! The show is getting better and better everyday!

I also wanted to say how much fun this is, there's so much help from everyone I know. I have a ton of people recording, I've got people giving me ideas, I'm even getting musical equipment for background music and the theme song. Even my teachers are getting into it. That's really what is making this fun.

Also, when a trailer is made for the show, I think I'm going to be able to get it on my school's weekly TV show!
